A leading technology and services company, WIPRO has recently appointed a new Chief Operating Officer, Sanjeev Jain replacing the former COO, Amit Choudhary.
During Jain’s tenure as COO, he will report to CEO Srinivas Pallia and will continue to be a member of Wipro’s Executive Committee. He will be based in Bengaluru.
Choudhary’s exit from WIPRO marks the third C-level resignation from the tech and services company, after former CEO Thierry Delaporte and CFO Jatin Dalal. To ensure smooth transition of role, the former COO Amit Choudhury will remain in office till the end of May.

His journey at WIPRO began in 2023 as the Global Head of Business Operations. With his 30 years of experience in leading large and diverse teams, he has been leading Wipro’s talent supply chain, including Wipro’s gig work platform, TopGear, as well as talent skilling, global mobility, talent acquisition, and business resilience functions. He played a key leadership role in the development and deployment of Wipro’s AI training and upskilling strategy.

Responsibility as a COO
Sanjeev is expected to continue WIPRO’s journey of client centric delivery organization focused on driving sustainable, profitable and delivery led growth. With this elevation in rank, he will now oversee Global Business Operations, the Chief Information Office, the Chief Information Security Office, and the Enterprise Risk Management function and continue to work closely with Wipro’s leadership teams across the organization on transformation initiatives.
Prior experience
Previously, Sanjeev has worked in the leadership team at Kyndryl Holdings (IBM spin-off), IBM, Cognizant, and GE and enabled profitable growth by integrating the end-to-end talent supply chain, driving margin expansion, simplifying processes, and strengthening the operating rhythm.
