It is by the people and for the people
“We democratized technology to prevent monopoly. It is by the people and for the people and we are committed to ensure that emerging talents from within the community can continuously contribute and enhance its value to foster trust in technology among people.”
PM Modi emphasized the introduction of up to 2 lakh Aarogya Mandir in rural villages to connect technology with health. This enables people to be treated with the help of doctors sitting miles away due to the introduction of big hospital-size technology in small centres. This technology will also be replicated in education and agriculture to help the people of this country on the ground level.

“I want to bring a psychological change. Everyone in the village should feel that it is the women of the villages who are bringing a positive change.”
AI : A boon or curse?
Bill Gates emphasized the risks of AI and technology. PM Modi acknowledging this problem focused on establishing some do’s and don’ts for AI in the country.
“I engaged with Leading minds in AI. I suggested that we should start with clear watermarks on AI-generated content to prevent misinformation. This isn’t to devalue AI creations but to recognize them for what they are.”
This conversation regarding AI further delved into data collection and privacy. PM said that the legal framework in India exists, but public awareness is required. The government is not only providing services with the use of cloud services to store documents, but a major focus lies on the ease of living of Indians.
