Mithun Da Rushed to Hospital
Renowned actor turned politician, Mithun Chakraborty, on February 10th was hurried to the Apollo Hospital in Kolkata. He was admitted in the Emergency Unit and diagnosed with Ischemic Cerebrovascular Stroke.
The veteran actor complained of weakness in the right upper and lower limbs. Ensuing that, he was rushed to Apollo Multispeciality Hospitals around 9:40 am in the morning.
The 73 year old artist has been hospitalised, but is stable. The official statement issued by the Hospital stated that Mithun Chakraborty, National Award-winning actor was ushered in the Hospital after his ailing heath compliants.
Diagnosed with Ischemic Cerebrovascular Accident (Stroke)
He was evaluated for the necessary tests and scans for medical investigation, including his brain’s MRI scan.
The reports confirm the diagnosis of Ischemic Cerebrovascular Accident (Stroke) of the brain. Mithun Da’s current health status is stable and conscious. He is well-oriented and is kept on a soft diet.

The star is kept under care and is further under the consultation and supervision of neuro-physician, cardiologist and a gastroenterologist.
A while ago, the Chakraborty family updated the public of the former Rajya Sabha member, assuring that he is 100% fine. His son, Mimoh Chakraborty says that it is only a routine check-up.
The Actor wins Padma Bhushan
Mithun Da, as he is fondly referred to by his fans, has won the heart of audience through phenomenal performances in films like Jung, Disco Dancer, Pyar Jhukta Nahin Prem Pratigyaa, and Mard.
With a sparkling career spanning decades, Mithun entered the Bollywood Industry in 1976. His spectacular acting skills have made him win 3 national awrds in his journey and he was one of the recipients of the Padma Bhushan Awardees 2024.

The BJP politician’s mother Santirani Chakraborty recently deceased in July 2023 in Mumbai. Santirani was allegedly ailing from geriatric issues since some time. Mithun’s father Basantokumar Chakraborty breathed his last in April 2020 as Kidney Failure took his life at the age of 95.
