Second Test Day 4 of IND vs. ENG: India tied the series at one wicket after winning the second Test by 106 runs at the ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Vishakhapatnam.
Given the results of the previous two games, the third Test between the two sides will hopefully be another thrilling affair. It will take place in Rajkot. In their match against Jasprit Bumrah and Axar Patel, England’s opener Zack Crawley
and nightwatchman Rehan Ahmed needed 332 runs to win, but the final total of 399 proved to be too much for them.
Kuldeep Yadav dismissed Crawley at lunch, while Bumrah trapped Jonny Bairstow to end the game.
India’s standout bowler, Bumrah, bowled his heart out in the two-hour session, bowling one extra in his opening burst before returning towards the end of the session to send back Bairstow. Ashwin took his 499th wicket, while Axar Patel found Rehan’s pads with a straighter one. Crawley’s play in the first session stood out, with his cover and a straight drive off Bumrah. Axar Patel found Rehan’s pads with a straighter one, while Rohit Sharma made a sharp catch off Ashwin. India’s defense was a tad defensive, with both long off and long on in place for Rehan.
Highlights of India vs. England, Second Test Day 4
Shubman Gill scored a century, while Jasprit Bumrah and Ravichandran Ashwin each took three wickets to help India upset England by 106 runs in the second Test on Monday. On Day 4, England needed 332 runs, and at the crease, Zak Crawley and Rehan Ahmed were undefeated. But Ashwin’s stint let the hosts re-enter the contest. After Crawley went out for 73, no other English batsman was able to get more than 40 runs. England was bowled out for 292 after three wickets apiece from Bumrah and Ashwin.
Nevertheless, Zak Crawley and Night Watchman Rehan Ahmed, who batted overnight, have returned to the England team. Starting with a maiden delivery, Jasprit Bumrah bowled the opening over of the day. Ten Crawley smacked a four off Bumrah, and Ahmed scored two consecutive boundaries against Axar Patel. Sliding in and staying a bit low, a third-arm ball on the trot. Rehan Ahmed shrugs inward and flicks his leg sideways. Smacks his pads after going under his bat. England doesn’t assess; therefore, the impact could have been a little wrong. Rehan leaves right away.
Jasprit Bumrah and Yashasvi Jaiswal write India’s series-level victory

It is worth mentioning that the left-hander’s 209 during an Indian innings in which no other batsman scored more than 35 runs established the standard for India’s supremacy.
Additionally, Shubman Gill’s hundred in the second innings put India on top, scoring 104 off 147. I
ndia dismissed England for 253 in their first innings, with Crawley making 76 off 78 deliveries.
Ravichandran Ashwin, the highest wicket-taker against England in Tests, reached 499 scalps in the fourth innings, breaking the record.
Shreyas Iyer’s direct hit caught Ben Stokes short of his crease, a moment in the chase. India bowled out England in 69.2 overs, taking 55.5 overs in their first innings. The match was marked by a strong performance from India’s bowlers.
Bumrah and Jaiswal shines throught the match
After two matches, India managed to defeat England by 106 runs in Vizag, tying the five-match series at 1-1. The two main players in India’s triumph against an England team that, although being outmatched every day of the Test match by Rohit Sharma-led India, never gave up till the very end were Jasprit Bumrah and Yashasvi Jaiswal. Along with Jaiswl and Bumrah, Shubman Gill, James Anderson, and Zak Crawley made significant contributions to the outstanding red-ball drama that held the attention of the audience over the entire four days.
India’s Shubman Gill made history by scoring his third Test hundred, surpassing Vinod Kambli and Sunil Gavaskar in the longest format of the game. Jaiswal, playing in his sixth Test, became the third youngest Indian to hit a double century in the longest format of the game. India posted 396 runs in the first innings, thanks to Jaiswal’s double ton. Jasprit Bumrah, a rare pacer in India, has 29 wickets in six Tests at an average of 13 and a strike rate of 30. Bumrah became the fastest Indian pacer and second fastest in Asia, behind Pakistan’s Waqar Younis. Gujarat bowler Gujarati Bumrah stopped England from posting a big first innings total and made India’s victory possible.
