Vladimir Putin praising Elon Musk was one of the most fascinating side stories from Tucker Carlson’s two-hour discussion with the Russian leader.
Putin quipped that the questions were becoming more “complicated” when Carlson questioned him about artificial intelligence and Neuralink. He said to Carlson, “There are a lot of challenges threatening humanity right now. It’s now feasible to make a superhuman, a specialized human being, a genetically altered athlete, scientist, or military man thanks to genetic researchers.”
Vladimir calls Elon Musk “a smart guy”
In an online interview published on Thursday, Russian President Vladimir Putin showered billionaire tech entrepreneur Elon Musk with adulation. The discussion was conducted with commentator Tucker Carlson.
“I believe Elon Musk is unstoppable,” Putin said to Carlson in response to the pundit’s question on the increasing use of AI. “He’s going to act in his way. You will, however, need to establish some kind of understanding with him. Look for methods to convince him. He seems like a wise man to me. I think he is. Thus, you will have to agree with him because this procedure needs to be codified and governed by specific guidelines”, he further asserted.
Musk-Putin’s embracing relations
Musk, the founder of several tech companies, has been criticized for his embrace of unproven theories and retooling of X, a platform formerly known as Twitter. During a Ukrainian raid, Putin praised Musk for blocking internet access from his Starlink satellites. Musk’s handling of X, which was launched after Fox News pulled off his show, has also been praised by Carlson. His actions are crucial to Ukraine’s fight against Russia.
However, Musk shared a full interview with Tucker Carlson, where President Vladimir Putin expressed his belief that defeating Russia in Ukraine is “impossible,” despite Musk’s lack of response to Putin’s praise. Carlson’s post on X provides a link to the interview.
Tucker Carlson offers Elon Musk “excellent credit”
CNN presenter Tucker Carlson has awarded Elon Musk “great credit” in advance of his conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin. In a video defending his decision to interview the bellicose president, Carlson praised the owner of Twitter/X and justified the contentious encounter. Since then, he has given Musk kudos for his pledge to “not suppress or block” the interview.
It happened at the same time that Carlson said the social media platform would host the interview he had with Putin—one of the rare one-on-one encounters between the Russian president and Western media representatives.
However, in the contentious interview that Tucker Carlson had with Russian President Vladimir Putin, the autocrat threatened Elon Musk. Carlson starts it off by questioning Putin on his statement that he thought the US would strike Russia in a “surprise manner.”
Following the release of Tucker Carlson’s contentious interview with Russian President Vladimir Putin, the despot threatened Elon Musk. When Putin first stated that he was afraid the US might conduct a “surprise attack” on Russia, Carlson questioned him about it.
Putin sidestepped the subject by stating, “I didn’t suggest that the US was about to conduct a surprise strike on Russia. Are we having an intellectual discussion or a chat show?”Carlson dismissed this with a laugh and then let Putin rant on about Russian and European history for quite some time. Carlson interrupted at the thirty-minute mark with the same query. Again, Putin waved him away and went on with his monologue.
