Army officers’ encounter with terrorists

Qari, a committed terrorist and citizen of Pakistan, was one of the dead terrorists. He received training on both the Afghan and Pakistani fronts, the PRO Defence Jammu claims. The terrorist who was killed, according to PRO Defence Jammu, was a senior Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist leader. He spent the last year participating in Rajouri-Poonch with his squad. It was also thought that he was the architect behind the attacks on Dangri and Kandi. “He was sent to revive terrorism in the region and had expertise in IEDs, operating and hiding from caves, and a trained sniper,” PRO Defence Jammu stated, The identity of the other terrorist is being verified.
Compensation announced
A government post for one of Captain Shubham Gupta’s family members and a ₹50 lakh financial support were announced by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, according to an official announcement. Additionally, Adityanath “said that road in the district would be named after late Captain Gupta,” the statement continued. Agra district native Captain Gupta enlisted in the Indian Army in 2015 and received his commission in 2018. According to PTI, defense officials said that on Thursday night, Captain V Pranjal’s lifeless remains—who was also slain during the encounter with terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir—will be transported by air to Bengaluru. The former Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy tweeted on social networking site X to express condolences for the soldier’s passing. He said, “Heartfelt tributes to Captain MV Pranjal, a proud Kannadiga, who lost his life during the military operation against terrorists in Rajouri, Jammu and Kashmir.”
