The Apple aura has hit yet again.
Apple’s official website has announced the launch of the new Apple Pencil (USB- C). The new Apple Pencil has a flat side that can magnetically attach to the side of your iPad for easy storage and matte finish. This next gen product is epitome for taking notes, sketches, annotation, and much more.
According to Bob Borchers, vice president of worldwide product marketing at Apple, “Apple Pencil has revolutionized note taking, sketching, and illustrating, unleashing endless possibilities for productivity and creativity.” The new Apple Pencil “unlocks another great option to experience the magic of digital handwriting, annotation, marking up documents, and more” when used in conjunction with the iPad’s versatility.
The New Apple pencil is retaining all the features found in previous models in addition to hover functionality and built in pairing and charging of the device. A sliding cap reveals a USB-C port for connecting via an USB-C cable. The device can further enter a sleep mode to preserve battery life when not in use. The new Apple Pencil is the reasonable model, making it great for everyday productivity and creativity. The Apple Pencil lineup already consists of two models- the Apple Pencil (1st generation) and the Apple Pencil (2nd Generation).
Apple pencil updated
The Apple pencil features Pixel-perfect precision, low latency, tilt sensitivity, and pressure sensitivity. With iPadOS capabilities like Scribble, Quick Note, and when working with others in Freeform, the new Apple Pencil performs admirably. The new Apple Pencil supports hover when used with iPad Pro M2 models, enabling users to sketch and illustrate with even more accuracy. The pen can be exemplarily used by iPad (10th generation) users and it also works with all iPad models i.e. iPad Air (4th and 5th generations), iPad Pro 11-inch (1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th generations), iPad Pro 12.9-inch (3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th generations), and iPad mini (6th generation).
It’s crucial to note that the second-generation Apple Pencil’s pressure sensitivity, wireless charging, and auto-pairing are all absent from the latest version. When it comes to the specs sheet, the Apple Pencil 2 continues to be the best. Both the new USB-C enabled devices and the first-generation Apple Pencil lack capabilities like double-tap functionality to switch between tools and flawless wireless pairing and charging, which it boasts.
The new Apple will be available in stores by early November for a budget friendly $79 (7900 INR).
