On Tuesday, Ranveer Singh surprised his fans by clearing out his Instagram account, including all photos with his wife Deepika Padukone. The couple, who are expecting a baby, are currently enjoying a vacation together.
Ranveer Singh deleted or archived all his previous posts?
Ranveer Singh appears to have either deleted or archived all his previous posts, with the oldest one dating back to January 2023. Consequently, their wedding pictures are no longer visible on his profile. However, recent photos like anniversary and Diwali celebrations are still available. As of now, he has only 133 posts on his account.
When DP too did it
It seems Ranveer’s recent Instagram overhaul might just be a clever social media strategy. This isn’t the first time the couple has pulled such a move – Deepika Padukone did something similar before. Back on December 31, 2020, she wiped her entire profile clean and launched an audio diary.
While her wedding pictures vanished initially, she later brought them back, making them the only ones on her grid. Ranveer’s Instagram activity coincided with the emergence of pictures from their “babymoon trip,” where Deepika was sporting a baby bump.
Back in February, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone joyfully announced they were expecting their first child via Instagram. They shared that their baby would be arriving in September 2024. Since then, they’ve mostly been seen together at the grand Ambani wedding.
As for their work, Deepika is gearing up for the release of two films this year: Kalki 2898 AD, starring Prabhas, and a special appearance in Singham Again, where she plays a cop alongside Ranveer, who’s already familiar with the cop universe after his role in “Simmba.”
Moreover Ranveer is set to kick off a new film directed by Aditya Dhar, Director known for “Uri: The Surgical Strike.”
